NaNiwa and TheLittleOne will be playing for team Europe in Asia-Europe StarLeague. NaNiwa has amazingly won three ZOTAC cups in a row, and TheLittleOne has shown some good results as well, and is known for his very entertaining play style.

Are you excited about the event?

NaNiwa: Considering I got to know that I was going be in the event not long ago, I'm rather surprised than excited.

TheLittleOne: Yes very much, it's awesome to have a chance to compete with Asian players.

From what you've seen, what do you think of Asian SC2?

NaNiwa: Considering that there has been nothing other than the StarsWar covered in Asian SC2, my only opinion is that they are up to par with the other people.

TheLittleOne: I have to admit that I havent watched a lot of Asian VODs yet. So I don't really have an opinion yet. I expect them to be very strong, but not as dominating as in Brood War.

What do you think about the level of the European SC2 compared to the rest of the world at the moment?

NaNiwa: That's an impossible thing to answer right now considering that the realms are so closed off. I do think, as usual, that America is behind Europe just like in all games. And I also do believe Europe is better than Asia aslong as it's a new game where everyone is still trying their best.

TheLittleOne: I can only compare it with the US and I believe we have a slightly larger amount of top players than them at the moment. I don't think there's anything that differs them when it comes to skill level or playstyle, the US and the EU top players practiced a lot together already, so the game styles have merged.

How does it feel to be a part of the European team for the Asia vs Europe StarLeague event?

NaNiwa: I feel like there is alot left for me to do in the European scene, and I'm not interested in the Global scene right now until I have done what I want in Europe.

TheLittleOne: I am very glad to have the opportunity to represent our continent, it really means a lot to me!

How do you think that the fact it's a continent and not a nation fighting will affect the team spirit?

NaNiwa: I dont think that you can achieve the same level of team spirit considering there are so many different languages, and we all know that people from the same nationality try to stick together. but i hope we can atleast be united to some degree.

TheLittleOne: The fact that everyone in EU wants to show the world that we can be as strong in SC2 as Asia will unite us.

How are you going to prepare your matches, any partners you practice more with than others?

NaNiwa: I am going to prepare as i always do before a tournament. play customgames vs the people i find are good unlike the ladder that gives one good game out of 20.

TheLittleOne: I usually just ask the guys on my fl, but preferably with Jinro and Nazgul. Liquid is still missing a Zerg member, thats why I have to ask others but thats okay too.

What are you predictions for the event? Who will win and by what margin?

NaNiwa: That's really tough to say. After seeing Freedom against DeMusliM I don't know what to believe about the Koreans. I would hope that Europe wins, but considering that there will be a lot of delay I think it can go either way.

TheLittleOne: I hope the results will be very close. Maybe only one match deciding over victory or defeat.

Do you have any shoutouts?

NaNwa: I want to shoutout to Rotterdam and Hasuobs for always whining properly in the wc3l-players channel. I also want to show my support to NightEnD, a fairly unknown player but good to say the least. I hope he keeps his spirit up in order to strive towards his great but not impossible goals!

TheLittleOne: To my fellow europeans: Let's show em what we've got!
