The Season Finals weekend will take place in Da Nang, Vietnam.
League of Legends (LoL) developer Riot Games has announced the venue for the first-ever LoL Championship Pacific (LCP) Season Finals Weekend will be in Da Nang, Vietnam, in September 2025. This was announced through the LCP’s official X and YouTube accounts:
The LCP Season Finals is the third Split under the LCP banner with eight teams competing for the first-ever LCP Championship title and the lion’s share of US$80,000. The first stages of the event are expected to mostly take place in Taipei in July 2025, but will culminate in the LCP Finals Weekend, which will take place in Da Nang, Vietnam in September.
Tournament Format Overview
Group Stage
Teams are divided into two groups based on their Mid-Season Regular Season standings:
- Contender Group: Top four teams
- Breakout Group: Bottom four teams
Each group will compete in a single round-robin, with every team playing three best-of-three (Bo3) matches.
At the end of this stage:
- The top two teams from the Contender Group and the bottom two teams from the Breakout Group retain their group placements for the Group Seeding Bracket.
- The remaining four teams proceed to the Group Breaker stage.
Group Breaker
Matchups are seeded as follows:
- Contender Group 4th vs Breakout Group 1st
- Contender Group 3rd vs Breakout Group 2nd
- Both series are Bo3
Winners return to the Contender Group; losers are moved to the Breakout Group.
Group Seeding Bracket
- GSL-style format
- All matches are Bo3
- All teams from the Contender Group and the top two from the Breakout Group qualify for Playoffs
Playoffs
- Double elimination
- Upper Bracket Quarterfinals and Semifinals: Bo3
- All other matches: Bo5
- Top three teams secure spots at Worlds 2025
All matches will use the Fearless Draft format, which received strong community and team support during Split 1.
