The world of League of Legends as well as the relevant communities were in shock when T1 announced the return of Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok to the midlane. This comes after he took a three-week hiatus, stating that he wasn't up to standard to compete by stepping away in February.

Of course, there is more to it than just Faker taking a leave of absence. Over the course of the LCK 2021 Spring Split, T1 have used 10 different lineups over eight weeks. This is because T1 wanted to build a flexible 10-man roster that can compete on all fronts.

Thankfully, the "Unkillable Demon King" was back at his very best, helping T1 take out Gen.G in a clean two-nil sweep to further cement their place in the playoffs. T1 also made sure surround Faker with familiar names after utilising every possible combination over the past seven weeks.

Here is how T1 lined up for week 8 and moving forward:

However, the team is currently in fifth place with an 8-7 scoreline. They do have three more games to play, which will give them a greater chance in securing their spot. Thier last three matches are against DRX, Afreeca Freecs, and Hanwha Life Esports.
