Raz replaces Brokenshard as Team Dignitas' head coach

After only one competitive event, Team Dignitas head coach Ram “Brokenshard” Djemal has stepped down to make way for Barento “raz” Mohammed as DIG’s new coach for 2016.

Brokenshard, having a long history as a player in the European League Championship Series, was brought in to coach Team Dignitas EU back in February of 2015. The team went on to place at the top of the EU Challenger Series, securing them a place in 2016’s EU LCS. As the 2015 season ended, DIG EU was sold off to Follow eSports, allowing DIG to transition Brokenshard from EU to the North American team.

DIG was then invited to attend the Intel Extreme Masters event in Cologne, Germany, only to be defeated 1-2 by the tournament’s eventual runner-ups, China’s own Qiao Gu. After the defeat, Dignitas announced that Brokenshard would be stepping down, allowing team analyst raz to step up as the team’s new head coach.

With so much hype surrounding NA this upcoming season, we question whether DIG will stand a chance against such powerhouse teams like Team SoloMid and Cloud 9. The NA LCS begins on January 16th, so be sure to tune in to see the best of the best compete to claim the title of NA’s finest.
