Immortals announces their starting lineup

As all the LCS teams finalize their roster by the lock-in date, Immortals publicly announces their starting lineup.

After selling their LCS spot, Team 8 rebranded into what is now Immortals. Not only has the team name and ownership changed, but also their roster. The only person that was part of the original T8 lineup is former support JunJyeok “Dodo8” Gang, who is now the team’s manager. For months we’ve all been wondering who will fill these vacant spots for each role, but as of December 8, 2015 we were finally granted that wish.

Immortals new lineup consists of all NA and EU LCS veterans. The team has acquired Fnatic’s previous top laner and jungler Seung-Hoon“Huni” Heo and Yeu-Jin“Reignover" Kim, Counter Logic Gaming’s previous mid laner Eugene “Pobelter” Park, Team SoloMid’s previous ADC Jason “WildTurtle” Tran, and Team Impulse’s previous support Adrian “Adrian” Ma. Each member of the new roster has something to offer. Both Huni and Reignover were the semi-finalists in this years World Championships and can help provide the team the knowledge needed in order to succeed. Pobelter has so much hidden potential that he has yet to show on stage and hopefully with guidance and great shot calling, we can finally see his true form. WildTurtle was previously on NA's top tier team TSM where he can excel with his adaptiveness when given a new laning partner out of the blue. Lastly, Adrian was known to bring great vision for his previous team and his presence in teamfights were impeccable, regardless of the fact that he may still be considered as a newcomer in the professional scene.

By acquiring these star players, IMT looks like the team to beat. In previous LCS splits, everyone could guess which teams will reside on top and actually be right. Now with all the roster changes and changes to League in general, it is hard to pinpoint who exactly will claim victory.
