The groups for the 2015 World Championships have been drawn. Former Worlds Participants Rapidstar, Froggen and Cool decided the fate for the 16 teams that aim for the trophy in Berlin.
The groups and the way the qualified are as follows:
Group A:
- Counter Logic Gaming (NA LCS Champion)
- Flash Wolves (LMS Regional Finals winner)
- KOO Tigers (Korean Championship points number 1)
- Pain Gaming (IWC Chile winner)
Group B:
- Fnatic (EU LCS Champion)
- Invictus Gaming (Chinese Regional Final second place)
- AHQ (LMS Champion)
- Cloud 9 (NA Regional Finals winner)
Group C:
- SK Telecom T1 (Korean LCK Champion)
- H2k (EU Championship points number 1)
- EDG (Chinese Regional Finals winner)
- Bangkok Titans (IWC Turkey winner)
Group D:
- LGD Gaming (Chinese Championship points number 1)
- KT Rolster (Korean Regional Finals winner)
- Team Solomid (NA Championship points number 1)
- Origen (EU Regional Finals winner)
The group stages start on October 1st in Paris France, where the 16 teams will battle to get to the quarterfinals in London.
