Helios dealt to Team Dignitas, will share jungle with Azingy

Team Dignitas has made yet another change in the jungle, adding LCS veteran Dong-jin “Helios” Shin.

Helios most recently served as the starting jungler for the recently relegated Winterfox, who had kept him listed as a substitute after their recent roster turnover.

Dignitas mentions Helios as their “sixth” player, becoming the second North American team this split to try and implement the famous flip flop strategy used by Korean powerhouse SK Telecom T1. It seems the Korean native is set to share the starting position with incumbent jungler Andrew “Azingy” Zamarripa.

“With Helios our laners full potential will unlock. An experienced jungler is key to ensuring our ticket to playoffs and beyond,” stated head coach Sami “Rico” Harbi through a team statement.

Dignitas hope the duo will expand the team’s jungle pool and playstyle, allowing more flexibility in team compositions as they look to build off their impressive 3-1 start.

With Dignitas currently standing at a five-way tie for first place, they hope this unique roster change will help separate themselves from the bunch.
