Today Liquid, the eSports director of Curse, announced that Keane will be the newest addition to the Curse Academy.
Lae-Young “Keane” Jang, a former member of Team Curse Oceania, will be joining Curse Academy as their new top laner. His records show that he finished at 2300 elo during season 2 on the Korean server, while in season 3 he finished at rank 11 on the Korean Challenger ladder. At the moment, Keane is rank 2 on the Oceanic region ladder with over 1.5k LP and a 62% win rate. Much like WildTurtle in NA, Keane also has another 2 accounts in the top 50 of Challenger.
The player seems excited to be moving to NA and is planning to achieve a challenger rank by the end of the week. His goal is to help the team succeed in the NACL and to secure a spot for the next season of NA LCS.
