TSM beats Cloud9 in an extremely competitive game, EG cannot close a game out versus LMQ, Dignitas remain dominate against Curse, and CLG comes back from an early defeciet against Complexity.

The game that kicked LCS off was between last splits first and second place teams in Cloud 9 and Team SoloMid. TSM gives up first blood in a 1 for 1 trade but take dragon and a small gold lead. Cloud 9 forces a few fights against TSM where they lose or come out even for most of the midgame.
The game swings in TSM's favor when they get a 2 for 0 trade and dragon when Cloud 9 misplays a crucial teamfight in the bot side river. After gaining a sizeable gold lead TSM slowly push advantages and force picks onto Cloud 9. Cloud 9 try repetitively to fight TSM, but are not strong enough even with good engages and give TSM even larger leads. After a 4-2 trade TSM push down two nexus turrets and shortly afterwards end the game to make their overall record against Cloud 9, 2-14.
The second game was between EG with new jungler Helios, and the strong chinese team LMQ. The game began and both teams set up in standard lanes, but EG made the most of it with the new jungler Helios periodic pressure in toplane gettin Jax ahead of Shyvanna.
EG take a sizeable lead ahead of LMQ and it continued to grow. LMQ did not get their first turret until 33 minutes in. However, EG could not seem to force their advantage and LMQ played passive enough until they could take an uncontested baron. After taking baron LMQ starts shoving down mid lane, but Jax was split pushing bot and took the inhibitor right as LMQ took mid inhibitor turret. Jax makes a bad decision trying to teleport back onto a nexus turret and LMQ burst the turret down and win the base race.
First place Dignitas played a low placed, but they play against a team that beat them before in Curse for third game of the day. The game had standard lanes and the first action happened 10minutes in when both jungler gank the toplane simultanuiously when Crumbzz uses his Nocturn ultimate to engage a towerdive countered by IWillDominates rengar, trading 1-1 giving first blood to IWillDominates Rengar. This gank told the story of the early to mid game with each jungler trading ganks and objectives with one another.
The big turn around happened when KiwiKid went to ward and Curse caught him out, but a great flash away and a turn around by the Dignitas team got dig a kill onto Voyboy, then Dignitas pushed down mid all the way, take the inhib, and lastly imaqtpie gets a great Lucian culling giving him two kills. Once Dignitas got a strong advantage they forced their will onto Curse ending the game rather quickly once the lead favored them heavily. Dignitas took the game off Curse going 1-1 against them so far in the split and tie Dignitas for first place in NA LCS with LMQ.
Rounding out the day was a match between last place Complexity gaming and a powerful third place CLG. At the start of the game a 5 versus 5 fight starts at 40seconds in, but Complexity gets the advantage taking a kill onto aphromoo. Even with the early kill advantage Complexity loses some map control by midgame and lose map objectives because of it
The game swung into CLG's favor heavily when CLG dives tier 2 turret in the botlane trading 2-4 and getting the turret. Shortly afterwards Complexity fight CLG near dragon and lose 2-4 then CLG takes their advantage a force their will onto Complexity. CLG takes baron shortly afterwards then quickly ends the game.
