Despite SKT's collosal lead in the group stage of Masters, Ozone were able to crush SKT and become champions after a 3-0 sweep.
Samsung Galaxy Ozone vs. SKT T1 S kicked off the grand finals of masters with Ozone finding a kill advantage and T1 S pulling ahead in towers. Ozone managed to stay even and eventually surpass T1 S in global gold due to their superior dragon control.
Ozone's experienced shined bright as the game progressed and teamfights became more frequent. Ozone came back to obliterate T1 S for the 1-0 lead.
The next game was former champions versus fresh champions with Samsung Galaxy Blue vs. SKT T1 K. SKT ran a few questionable champions with Bengi running Jarvan and Faker running Kayle in his first professional game with her. The highlight performances of this game were definitely Deft and Spirit.
Deft, despite a composition that should theoretically counter him from his opposition, was able to position flawlessly and dominate. Spirit proved his value on Lee Sin and forced T1 K to play scared. While the match was close, Blue outplayed SKT T1 K and pushed it to a 2-0.
The final game would have the SKT organization using their "K" team again against a new opponent. Closing the day out, it was SKT T1 K vs. Samsung Galaxy Ozone. SKT found the early advantage by forcing Pawn to flash at level 1, but couldn't capitalize. Bengi, once again, chose the questionable jungle choice of Jarvan.
SKT put up a solid fight, but Ozone continued to pull very far ahead and maintain superior warding. T1 K were able to establish comebacks, and stalled much longer than what would seem to have been possible. Poohmandu utilized his support Zilean that he used at All-Stars at the end to turn a fight, using 3 ultimates to hold off a little longer.
Eventually, SKT were pushed in and pressured far too much and Samsung Galaxy pulled out 3-0 to become the Masters Champions.
