InSec and Zero transfer to China to play in Starhorn (Royal Club)

The, formerly, Royal Club roster wasn't looking too good compared to their debut at Season 3 Worlds.  Changes have been made involving KT Bullets' Zero and InSec moving to the team.

While the roles are not locked into place, the ex-KT Bullets players have decided to move over to China.  While this was not the first Korean to Chinese transition as World Elite had hired a Korean coach, it is the first time Korean players have been implemented into a team.

While InSec's position is not confirmed, Zero will for sure be Uzi's support, as Uzi transitioned back into the AD Carry role in the middle of the previous LPL season, despite stating he would not play AD without Tabe because he doesn't trust anyone else. Current evidence and logic dictates that InSec would occupy Top despite it not being his forte due to Kmi having a solid performance in the jungle last split while the solo lanes were problematic.  However, InSec will move to jungle in the case that Royal Club recruits LSPL top lane talent.

Paravine managed to translate an interview with the players -- here's an excerpt.

Q. I heard you are moving to a Chinese team. Can we hear your thoughts about moving to China?

Insec: I always played in China so it’s my first time playing for a team overseas so I am very hyped. Of course there are things I am worried about, but I am excited to experience something completely different from what I have experienced before.

Zero: I haven’t gotten the chance to shine in Korea. I want to take this opportunity to experience a lot of things and I am happy about my decision.

Q. I was very shocked when I heard the news. What made you decide to move to China?

Insec: I actually wanted to be in a Korean team but I missed the recruiting season. I did not want to rest a season because if I do, I can’t guarantee that I will find a team in the next season as well. Luckily I got a call from China. I wanted to continue playing professionally, and I thought this would be a new challenge for me so I decided to head to China.

Zero: What became the deciding factor for me was that I got to play as the starting player not a substitute. Insec did not take tests to get into Royal, but I had to take many tests to be chosen to be a starting player. Insec and coach Kim (From KT) recommended I take this path, and because I am a pro gamer, I wanted to be a starting player. So yeah, being able to play as a starting player and not a substitute was the biggest factor in my decision.

Q. You two are known to have switched positions numerous times, what positions will you be playing in Royal?

Insec: I think I am the jungle but I don’t know anything for sure. Because of that I think I need to go to China and talk with the team and decide. I do not care which position I get to chosen for, but I want to keep playing that position without changing positions later on.

Zero: I decided to go to Royal as the support. In try outs I played ranked games with Uzi and the results have been good and we had very good synergy together. I don’t know why but Uzi really really liked me. (Laughs)
