As opposed to last year, China will have three teams representing their region at the World Championship held in South Korea.
Just as last year, the World Championship will begin in September. The global community has seen the improvement and potential of Chinese teams and are allowing them to bring a deeper talent pool in attempts to grasp the Summoner's Cup.
Two separate strategies on entering the World Championship have been prevented -- one if the spring and summer playoff champions are the same teams, and one if not.

Top contenders to enter the World Championship this year have vastly shifted from last year, as current runner-up for World Champions Royal Club are barely scraping by in the LPL. The first qualifiers will be revealed at the end of this weekend, so stay tuned for the LPL playoffs.
