More European talent is coming overseas to strengthen North America. This time, it is former Cloud 9 Eclipse jungler Santorin.
The owner of Team Coast had announced that this week Coast would reveal their full line-up. It stats with the former talent of Cloud 9 Lucas "Santorin" Tao. This means that former jungler of Team Coast Joshua "NintendudeX" Atkins will now reside in a substitute position following his slump at the start of Season 4.
With this move, North America becomes an even larger mixing pot, with other cross-continental roster swaps occuring such as Korean player Najin White Shield sub top laner Seraph and Copenhagen Wolves' second talent "donation" to Team Solomid Amazing. The owner had some words to say in the announcement regarding the change.
"We wanted to build a team of talented individuals who are willing to learn to play the game differently, with an aggressive play-style and a focus on the current meta. In NA, Cloud 9 has come closest to what is required."
"We have nothing against NA Junglers,” said Slan. “There is a lot of talent here. We just didn’t find anyone with all the qualities Santorin brought to the table. Team Coast has significant resources, and we are willing to use them to build the best possible team."
