After a four game set, Evil Geniuses secure another split into the LCS and will have a shot at going for Worlds in the summer split.

Game 1 kicked off looking really good for Evil Geniuses early as they had a 2-0 start. Although an unfair representation in comparison of skill, Evil Geniuses looked much stronger than Cloud 9 Tempest in this game, mostly due to the 100% kill participating (7 kill) Jax in the first 15 minutes by Innox.
Cloud 9 Tempest's Kez was able to steal the baron, but at the end of the day, that wasn't enough to surmount their enormous deficit. Evil Geniuses took the first game of the series.
Looking to clench the spot away from Evil Geniuses, Cloud 9 Tempest played a better game, despite giving up yet another first blood to Evil Geniuses in Game 2. Evil Geniuses were a bit sloppy and although they made mistakes in the first game, they were not capitalized on. In the second game, Cloud 9 Tempest exposed those weaknesses and abused them.
Game 3 once again featured a first blood for Evil Geniuses. While C9T picked off some great skirmishes, Evil Geniuses were able to barely live, giving Cloud 9 Tempest no early advantage. After an essential baron, Evil Geniuses pushed and won game 3.
The fourth and final game was a relatively slow start. Evil Geniuses had yet another first blood, and their rotations were great with a lack of mistakes. Evil Geniuses set-in-stone their career back into the LCS and showed strong macro strataegy, allowing them to close out the game easily.
