In a wild upset, Gambit Gaming dropped their set 0-2 and now risk facing relegation if they do not win the 5th place match.

In an unlikely turn of events, Gambit Gaming did not play up to par when it mattered compared to their usual stature.  Game 1 kicked off with Jankos' attempted gank attempts repeatedly being turned over by TPs, as Gambit Gaming were running two of them.  However, while Gambit Gaming's teleports gave them more global pressure, it took away combat summoners, allowing ROCCAT to group and push towers.

Darien had an issue of being repeatedly caught and feeding ROCCAT much needed gold.  Despite ROCCAT being slightly ahead, they decide to get greedy and further their lead at a strange and unlikely 20 minute baron attempt.  They were able to secure the baron, but lost four people in response.  With ROCCAT's grouping strategy, Gambit Gaming were not able to fight back and dropped game one of the set.

Game 2 started off with ROCCAT being ahead 3-1 as a result of ROCCAT's solid play in combination with Gambit Gaming's questionable decision-making.  Gambit ended up very far behind, but weren't completely out of the fight, not wanting to risk evn the most slight of chances at relegation.

Shockingly, Gambit Gaming held off strong and even managed to acquire a baron.  However, even Nashor's buffs were not enough to hold Gambit Gaming over.  As a result, Gambit Gaming dropped two games in a row and ROCCAT moved onto the semi-finals to face off against SK Gaming.

Gambit Gaming now are placed the lowest they have ever been placed in LCS history.
