Millenium managed to pull a much needed win and contiue Alliance's trend of losing on superweek, while Millenium is currently 2-0.
Millenium versus Alliance was the first matchup to kick off the second day of Europe's super-week. Historically, Alliance has been having trouble and is 0-6 total for their superweek scores. Millenium, even if the bottom rated team in the EU LCS, are now 2-0. Alliance ended up having superior farm and also had a great fight by dragon to start out the game and get a huge lead.
Millenium was able to come back and force Alliance's hand, but once agains struggled to convert advantages into objectives. After catching Alliance in arough spot, Alliance were almost able to close out the game. Alliance were able to stall out, but eventually with the help of baron, Millenium were able to take a much needed win to start off the day.
Gambit Gaming vs. Roccat came up next, and while typically this is an interesting, innovative and close matchup, it was a one-sided stomp this time around. Gambit Gaming had superior rotations and were able to pull ahead, grabbing a nearly insurmountable tower count.
Roccat's innovation that thrusted them into success at the beginning of the season was missing and Gambit Gaming was able to read their every mood. Despite the initial first blood onto Darien following a lane swap, Gambit Gaming were easily able to pull themselves back into an advantageous situation and take an easy game.
The third game of the night would be an unusually close game between Supa Hot Crew and SK Gaming. The game lead off to a very passive start with no kills for 12 minutes. The action picked up when Supa Hot Crew acquired three kills at dragon as well as slaying the dragon. On top of this, they already had a tower lead. Supa Hot Crew had a very decisive lead, which SK Gaming looked to turn around with a very action packed mid game.
SK Gaming showed their incredible comeback prowess by coming back in the mid game. From a huge deficit, SK Gaming came up out of nowhere and had the advantage of baron in the mid game. After getting caught out in two crucial teamfights, SK Gaming were able to run them down.
