In a three-game rematch of the Quarterfinals of S3WC and Battle of the Atlantic, Fnatic wins and advances to the finals at IEM Katowice.
In the first game, xPeke got revenge against Hai for the second game of the Season Three World Championships with a solo first blood. From there, Fnatic used their morale boost to hold lanes and the jungle while Rekkles farmed bottom.
This wasn't easy, with Cloud 9 pulling off successful buff steals. But Fnatic applied pressure of their own to C9's red buff. Soon, however, they were able to take team fights around dragon where Rekkles showed up big. After that, Fnatic's structures could not hold up to a fed Vayne, and Fnatic took Game 1.
In the second game, xPeke again got first blood on Hai, and strong ganks around the map got Fnatic a sizeable lead.
Cloud 9 hung in there, however, and they managed to get a pick on Rekkles after the first dragon. They found more picks in the top lane and a tower, then grouped in time for the next dragon.
At the next dragon, Lemon's ultimate found Cloud 9 a good fight. They ramped up gold with the dragon and more picks until they had the lead, could dive Fnatic, and win.
The third game was the most decisive with Cyanide and xPeke roaming bottom to set Rekkles and YellOwStaR in the lead and get kills on LemonNation. After that, they out-rotated Cloud 9 and took both mid and bottom lane turrets.
Cloud 9 attempt to get back in by stalling out the mid game with wave clear. Fnatic, however, found an in in the dragon fights and more picks on Lemon. They were able to siege turret after turret and take two Baron buffs. They then pushed to Cloud 9's base while Cloud 9 attempted dragon and ended the game.
