The Jokers took an early lead in objectives and gold, putting the pressure onto the Philippine team immediately. However, that same pressure got them into big trouble, as they made repeated mistakes of overextending in the bot lane. This gave IPT a chance to take the lead and possibly win its very first game. They evened up the towers and gold, taking a lead in kills, and even had Fear go legendary on Ezreal. However, Imperium made crucial positioning errors that gave the lead back to SAJ, and this time the Vietnamese team weren't planning on any re-throws.
Riding on their momentum, the players from SAJ were up against Insidious Gaming and if they win, they would cement their spot in the playoffs together with TPS and ahq. The early part of the match was essentially a mirror of their previous one, with the Jokers getting an early lead, then throwing it away due to a few tactical errors. While the Singaporean squad did a better job with the opportunity given to them, ultimately SAJ was able to bounce back and siege ISG's base lane per lane, demolishing inhibitors one by one until they got the win.
