The Fox Sound, a European Challenger team, has become the flagship squad for the re-launch of TNP Gaming EU.
All of the members of the team are competitive scene mainstays, some having played briefly for the re-vamped Lemondogs squad which participated in the Battle of the Atlantic and mid-laner NeeGodbro to bring LCS level experience to the team as a former player for the Copenhagen Wolves and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The Fox Sound has found modest success at the challenger level since their formation in January. Notable accomplishments include taking top prize against Meet Your Makers in EUW Challenger Series #17 and a semi-final finish in last week’s FACEIT Challenger Invitational 2. Most recently, the team participated in the EU Challenger Series, but failed to make it out of the Play-In Stage.
TNP is currently without a support player, with former player Benjamen “Zychion” Verstappen having left the team on February 28th.
Team captain Andy “CrazyCaps” Walda had this to say:
This is a great opportunity for the team to grow and really become something big. TNP provides us with the resources necessary for us to achieve results. We promise the fans we won’t let them down and will do everything we can to make this team a success
