The game began the way Cloud 9 seemed to want it to begin. All lanes were pushed up onto Evil Genius' side, and all lanes were winning in farm for Cloud 9, allowing Meteos to invade Snoopeh unpunished.
Thus, when fights began, Cloud 9 were able to take the advantage. Though EG were able to take the first dragon, fights consistently went into Cloud 9's favor after that. Evil Geniuses tried to come back, but sloppy engages went onto the wrong targets, and Cloud 9's superior coordination made it impossible. Cloud 9 took turrets, buffs, a baron, finally a surrender from EG at 31 minutes.
TSM appeared to struggle from a small slump after their defeat at the hands of Coast, falling behind in farm in both mid and bottom lane. While they didn't get farm leads, they managed to take turrets, however, and that kept the gold fairly even until Curse and TSM fought around dragon pit. Superior coordination again won the day, and TSM picked up a baron.
Even though Cop's Caitlyn could chunk down Dyrus, the tankiest member of TSM, a poor engage by Quas during TheOddOne's Wukong ultimate cost them the game in a top lane fight. After a slow start, TSM ended the game quickly at twenty nine minutes.
