Curse fails to hold off against Cloud 9 while Counter Logic Gaming claws through XDG to further secure third.

CRS vs. C9
In one of the passive-or-bloodshed games that Curse always has, in this game it was fully passive. Both teams were relatively even with a dragon down for Cloud 9, giving them more gold, but Curse never fell too far behind. However, due to Curse's composition and playstyle, Cloud 9 benefited much more from a game with no action. It wasn't until 25 minutes in where the real action began and Cloud 9 was able to get a baron.
After baron ran out, Curse went in for an assassination attempt, but even though Hai went down, two went down for Curse, allowing for Cloud 9 to apply pressure. Curse continued fighting clumped up when they would have been much better off spreading out, which allowed Cloud 9 to grab yet another baron. After catching a few members from Curse out, Cloud 9 grabbed another win.
CLG vs. XDG
CLG was able to grab first blood against their LCS kryptonite mid lane, but XDG received help in the bottom lane and were able to take down Aphromoo, making the exchange relatively even. two more kills went off between both teams, with the teams staying nearly dead even throughout the early game. Link used his jungling experience to roam top and managed to get a double kill on the jungle and top lane, but XDG answered with a kill bottom.
Mancloud's low mobility was taken advantage of as Link repeatedly roamed top while Dexter focused on getting kills bottom. Counter Logic Gaming utilized their huge gold advantage by baiting XDG into attempting kills while Dexter sweeped around the corner and cleaned them up. After all was said and done, CLG closed the game out with a stomp.
