
Western Digital has contributed €15,000 to the prize pot of the European Amateur scene with qualifiers beginning on the 10th of February.
Starting in a few short days, the Black Monster cup qualifiers will go live, featuring online qualifiers for individual European countries such as Poland, Spain, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Turkey, Russia, The Nordics, and Benelux regions. The tournament will last for close to two months with the grand finals landing on March 29th with Jason Kaplan of ESL offering commentary.
The prize purse will consist of €15,000 with the first place finisher taking home €6,000 and the spread of the remaining wealth to be determined. Top finishers will also be receiving hardware prizes in addition to a chunk of the prize purse.
The dates set are as follows:
10th February - Polish Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
11th February - Spanish Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
18th February - French Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
25th February - Nordic Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
4th March - German Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
10th March - UK Qualifier, top team qualifies
10th March - Turkish Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
18th March - Russian Qualifier, top 2 teams qualify
24th March - Benelux Qualifier, top team qualifies
29th - 30th March - Live Finals
