While we wait for the new season of Champions, another exciting tournament will start next week in Korea.
The LoL Masters 2014 will begin February 14. Unlike Champions, this tournament follows a unique format:
1. Only organizations with multiple teams can participate.
2. Each organization will fight each other in a best-of-three, the top four going to a bracketed playoffs. The Grand Finals will be a best-of-five.
3. In every match, all games will be played. In all games except the last, the organization can only use the exact roster of its team. In the last game however, the organization can have a mix of players from both of its teams.
The participating teams are: Najin e-mfire, Samsung Galaxy, Jinair Greenwings, CJ Entus, Incredible Miracle, KT Rolster, and SKT T1.
The prize pool is 100,000,000 KRW, with the winning team getting 50,000,000 KRW.
