CLG defeat Coast and TSM takes first place in the NA LCS

Counter Logic Gaming took an early lead against Team Coast, and TSM used superior picks and coordination to defeat Cloud 9.

Doublelift discusses changing mentality from the XDG defeat to transition into a victory against Coast.

The game started off with unsuccessful roam attempts by Coast being turned by CLG.  Shiphtur went bottom, but Link was waiting, and Pobelter followed him for the cleanup.  After that, almost all lanes started losing for Coast.  Noteably, Doublelift's Vayne outfarmed WizFujiiN's Caitlyn, and Nien's Shyvana bullied ZionSpartan's Renekton.

Though Coast picked up a couple early dragons, CLG were able to take easy turrets and outrotate.  The game closed out when Coast made a desperate Baron attempt that went awry, resulting in several kills for CLG and the Baron buff.  CLG steamrolled the base, and Doublelift's Vayne tumbled to victory.

OddOne and Dyrus celebrate their first ever victory over Cloud 9.

The game started strong for TSM with WildTurtle picking up first blood in the bottom lane.  Cloud 9, however, picked up small advantages in kills and dragons shortly after, and it seemed as if Cloud 9 would hold onto their first place rank in the North American LCS.

When the game transitioned to team phase, however, TheOddOne was on point with his Vi ultimates, using them to isolate Meteos so he had to use his Zhonya's Hourglass defensively and could not then engage upon TSM with Crow Storm.  TSM were able to control fights well from there by keeping WildTurtle safe and using Bjergsen to assassinate key members of Cloud 9.  Ultimately, they took a commanding victory and first place in the North American LCS.
