Gambit Gaming takes out Alliance while Fnatic established European dominance over ROCCAT in a 50 minute long brawl between the two powerhouses.

GMB vs. ALL

In a classic reiteration of M5 vs. CLG.Eu, Gambit Gaming held a definitive advantage for a great portion of the game.  Alex Ich was allowed on Kha'Zix, a memory Froggen would have rather forgotten after his experience in that game.  After an initial kill on him from Alex Ich, Alex chose to forego heavy farming to roam and apply a huge advantage for his team.

With a snowballed assassin and Genja having yet another remarkable performance on Jinx, the team was able to continue their heavy lead.  Alex Ich and Diamondprox on their trademarked champions Kha'Zix and Evelynn did work while Shook's primary champions were banned out, the sloppiness apparent in Alliance's gameplay.  With lack of counterjungling from Shook and all the pressure in the hands of Gambit, it was an easy game for them to close out.

ROC vs. FNC

In a battle between the top two teams, the pacing of the game provided an even back and forth fight throughout it all.  Fnatic seemed a bit craftier but ROCCAT showed they can play standard and drive it to a strong perforamnce as well. The combination of Thresh and Pantheon allowed for incredibly potent ganks from ROCCAT, but Fnatic has always been great at teamfights, turning it around at every opportunity.

In the second half of the game, Fnatic cleared vision around baron and got a brilliant and sneaky kill on the worm, giving them the edge on ROCCAT.  Despite the edge earned from baron, ROCCAT was able to pick the fights in their favor and ace them, eliminating the team and their baron buff. The game stalled out for a bit before Fnatic landed another crucial baron, allowing them to narrowly win a game-ending teamfight and finally take out ROCCAT.
