Dignitas continues to look unstoppable while Team Solomid handily dismantle their most senior of rivals.

EG vs. DIG

A typical lane swap commenced in game 3 despite the new patch, with both teams taking out their towers in 4 minutes. Evil Geniuses did not stop there though, and ended up taking a dragon, but Dignitas returned with a much better advantage: an inner turret. In fact, they even dropped the inhibitor turret to half. Evil Geniuses were able to turn a gank around bottom where a big fight ensued, allowing Evil Geniuses to surpass Dignitas in gold.

Even with Evil Geniuses' excellent poke composition, they were not able to fulfill their role as a team.  Dignitas' hard engages were causing a lot of trouble for Evil Geniuses, and even when trying to catch Crumbzz in his jungle, Dignitas stomped in fights. In a complete stomp even with risks being taken, Dignitas showed their 4th commanding lead in a row.

CLG vs. TSM

The long time rivalry kicks off for the first time since the previous LCS season, showing a revitalized roster of both teams with Counter Logic Gaming still using HotshotGG as a sub in the mid lane.  Pushing HotshotGG out early meant that TSM had early jungle advantages with TheOddOne taking away Link's gold. Unfortunately for HotshotGG, he was repeatedly camped by TheOddOne. Meanwhile, Link camping bottom game the Rush Hour an edge.

Team Solomid was able to creep into the lead after a very hard carry by Bjergsen across several teamfights, allowing WildTurtle to surpass Doublelift in gold as well. With consistent focus and assassination of HotshotGG, one person was always picked and CLG had to fight 4v5.  With Bjergsen's excellent play leading the charge, Team Solomid easily crusied through CLG to stay at the top of the charts.
