Riot has announced new skin for Diana - Lunar Goddess Diana. The skin is long awaited by the players since Diana is one of the few champions with only two available skin options.
Lunar Goddess Diana is the new addition to the skin pool in League of Legends. It will be available at the standard price of 975 RP. As the tradition demands, Riot have written a nice background story for the skin.
"Prophecy tells of the lotus cycle, where the flower endures humble beginnings in mud and one day blooms in perfect beauty.
Facing fierce persecution at every turn, a woman toiled among the laborers, the weak and the broken. In the shell of an ancient lunar temple, she uncovered a crescent blade slung across golden armor inscribed with blown lotus petals. A soft voice sang when she grasped the hilt of the weapon, lilting with honest knowledge. She was struck by a vision of a warrior goddess wearing the gilded regalia. Stirred by the truth in the moon’s hymn, she lifted the sword."
The skin continues the Lunar Revel theme for League of Legends. Previous skins within the same theme include:
Dragon Fist Lee Sin, Guqin Sona, Dragonblade Talon, Jade Dragon Wukong, Panda Annie, Jade Fang Cassiopeia, Dragon Wing Corki, Dragonblade Riven, Warring Kingdoms Jarvan IV, Xin Zhao and Tryndamere.
