While only temporarily holding the spot for Dexter, the roster shuffle proved powerful for Counter Logic Gaming in their match against Dignitas. Team Solomid managed to pull a key win off against Evil Geniuses as well.

TSM vs. EG
TSM battled against Evil Geniuses with a very scary initation composition, backed by Sivir's speed buff and very threatening bruisers. A very early first blood went down onto Innox only 4 minutes in from a duo dive from Dyrus and TheOddOne. A countertgank from Snoopeh bottom allowed Evil Geniuses to nearly even the odds. An early dragon would allow Evil Geniuses to stay in the game.
Despite some smart moves, TSM's aggression for kills and towers allowed them to stay ahead of Evil Geniuses. Evil Geniuses tried to crawl their way back in by picking some favorable skirmishes, but TSM still find ways to come back despite being engaged on. Overall, TSM got the best of EG and were able to push their luck and go 1-1.
CLG vs. DIG
The return of HotshotGG's Nidalee would battle in a flashback face-off with Scarra's Katarina. CLG's bottom lane were the first to triumph and take out Crumbzz on Elise. Even with a kill up in the early game, Dignitas maintained a gold lead from diving and taking bottom tower. CLG would continue to let objectives slip, dropping 2 turrets to 0 15 minutes into the game.
CLG still had some grasp on the game through the dragons and allowing Doublelift to farm in a signature fashion. They were then able to quickly swing things back in their favor. Unfortunately for CLG, Scarra's Katarina was having much more impact than the retired HotshotGG. With patient play and masterful rotations, HotshotGG made his temporary competitive redebut with a solid win against Team Dignitas.
