In a post on their website, Dignitas has confirmed that their UK team has decided to disband following the transfer of jungler Matt “Impaler” Taylor onto the Supa Hot Crew.
Dignitas UK was formed in May 2013 and experienced moderate success on the Challenger Cuircut, taking first at two MCM tournaments and second at the International Invitational. However they failed to qualify for the EU LCS Promotion Tournament in December.
Team Dignitas had this to say:
“We want to thank all of the players for their time with Team Dignitas and we wish them the best of luck in the future, hoping we get to see them in the LCS as well some day”.
The post also came with the announcement that Dignitas was currently searching for a new Challenger Cuircut team to represent in order to replace the all British squad.
