With the hotly anticipated action of Season 4 just around the corner, Dignitas and Scan.UK are giving eight of Europe’s best Challenger teams the chance to show their stuff and compete for £3000 in the Scan EUW Winter Invitational.
The teams are all high Challenger squads, although some new faces join the established teams as well. The recently acquired Cloud 9.EU led by former Gambit Gaming player Erih "Voidle" Sommermann make their debut in a match with another team with a new name, Reason Gaming, bolstered with the addition of former TCM player Laurent "BarneyD" Baiverlin. The Supa Hot Crew, who most recently just fell short of entering the LCS against SK Gaming, are set to face off with Eternity Gaming, who have looked strong of late. The last two matches will see Meet Your Makers, who were ousted from the LCS by the Copenhagen Wolves, looking to prove their strength against German challenger team Eyes on U while the Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez led team lololol square off against another high level team known as HeavyBotlane.
The action is set to begin Saturday January 11th with the grand finals on Sunday the 12th.
