In a fierce fight between the two old rivals, it was down to the wire. Invictus Started off very strong, while World Elite found wins sandwiched inbetween the set. While the first three games were decided convincingly, the last two were extremely close games, especially the last game.
In the last game of the set, the score ended only one kill apart with both teams struggling back and forth. Though both teams were remarkably even, Invictus Gaming was able to offer the final blow, pushing a stronger objective control game.
The two teams have met each other 13 times in the finals, winning only five of them. The rivalry between the two continues, showing the strongest performance they have yet by surpassing OMG and Positive Energy in this tournament, who took 3rd and 4th place respectively.
