After an explosive performance following several poor results in scrims, EG muster up the skill required to make it into the LCS.

In Game 1, Brokenshard had an incredibly strong showing, being one of the many European players that have transfered over to North America for a shot in the LCS. However, some counterganks and aggressive plays with Pobelter having nerves of steel helped secure a first win.

At that point, Evil Geniuses were able to retain the momentum.  They headed into game 2 with solid composure while Determined Gaming seemed to continually go on tilt.  It wasn't long until Evil Geniuses maintained full control of the game.  Pobelter made an awesome debut in this set of games by showing incredible play against already established solo laners, while being restricted from LCS in previous years largely because of his age. Snoopeh and Krepo also showed strong performances and proved to the world that they were not washed up pros either.

In game 3, Westrice tried to pull out his last option to fend off Evil Geniuses by picking his trademarked Akali pick.  Westrice was then forced into a 1v2, denied to the point where he had no kill potential and was severely underfarmed and underleveled in comparison to Innox's Renekton.  After a very swift 3-0, Evil Geniuses found themselves into the line-up for the spring split of the North American LCS.
