ALTERNATE managed to pull off a 2-0 and wipe CLG out in the Battle of the Atlantic

The game kicked off with Doublelift and Aphromoo falling victim to a level 1 3-man bush gank at bottom.  A counter gank later in the game would allow for CLG to catch up 1 for 1 in kill.  Araneae found more success in the jungle early on than the old EU jungler for Lemondogs 'Dexter', outfarming him and managing to secure an early red buff. CLG came back into the game with an early dragon.

The momentum did not drop off, and Dr. Mundo and Shyvana were scaling incredibly quickly, rendering Doublelift's auto attacks on Jinx nearly useless.  After one of the longest games with tons of back and forth action, ALTERNATE managed to pull off the win.  Barons went back and forth with dragons primarily in favor of ALTERNATE.  Team ALTERNATE ended the game by baiting CLG into a forced kite fight, tearing up the game and pushing to a game 2.

In game 2, CLG decided to leave Mundo open despite how problematic Kev1n was on it in the previous game.  However, CLG tried to counteract this by camping him, killing him quite often but allowing ATN to apply tons of pressure elsewhere due to Mundo's tankiness and ability to survive the ganks.

The game was much less close than game 1, with ALTERNATE taking a decisive lead for the majority of the game and Counter Logic Gaming only holding the advantage in the beginning.  Eventually, ALTERNATE were able to close it out in a somewhat unexpected and upset 2-0 victory.  Their win managed to tie Europe with North America in points for Battle of the Atlantic.
