Misaya announces his decision to retire from League of Legends, and World Elite reveals their roster for the upcoming 2013 G-League, including support player Sicca, on loan from Positive Energy.
Due to changes in the roster and uncertainty surrounding the future lineup of Team World Elite, they were unable to attend the GALAXY eSports Carnival this weekend alongside other top Chinese League of Legends teams. World Elite Academy attended in their place and placed last.
Yu "Misaya" Jing-Xi, former World Elite mid laner, announced he would retire from competitive League of Legends today.
With much dismay and much sorrow, I have finally made the last decision. On this road I have seen glorious sights and stood on pinnacles, but have also fallen to nadirs. I will never forget the life-and-death struggles I waged with my brothers on the field. Now that we are separated, I am not sad, nor upset. E-sports will always be a beautiful dream in my heart. Lastly, I want to let you know that I am very well, that I am cheerful, and that I hope that in your hearts I will always be the midlane god of death.

Misaya has often been sited as the best Twisted Fate player in the world, and he, alongside the marksman player and new team captain Gao "WeiXiao" Xue-Cheng have led Team World Elite to prominence over the past two years. Though they did not make it to the Season Three World Championship, World Elite consistently placed in the top three at Chinese League of Legends events.
In addition to Misaya's retirement, more big changes strike Team World Elite. On December 1st, their previous analyst, Ji "Aaron" Xing let the team, and World Elite are in the market to replace him. Teng "Ruo" Yang-Tian-Xia will be joining World Elite as their jungler, and Chen "sukiM" Zhi-Yuan will replace Misaya as mid laner. Ruo and sukiM were members of the Chinese amateur team, RisingStars Gaming, which recently disbanded after failing to escape Groups in the Winter Tencent Games Arena Grand Prix.
Li "Sicca" Hao-Yu, support player from Positive Energy, will be on loan to World Elite while they compete in the 2013 G-League. It does seem that the team's intent to bench Feng "Fzzf" Zhuo-Jun alongside jungler Ming "Mann" Kai is permanent, despite Sicca being only a temporary standin.
Team World Elite Temporary Roster:
Wei "CaoMei" Han-Dong (Top)
Teng "Ruo" Yang-Tian-Xia (Jungle)
Chen "sukiM" Zhi-Tuan (Mid)
Gao "WeiXiao" Xue-Cheng (Makrsman)
Li "Sicca" Hao-Yu (Temporary Support)
Ming "Mann" Kai (Sub)
Feng "Fzzf" Zhuo-Jun (Sub)
