Xenics Storm and Samsung Galaxy Ozone advance from the group stage in OGN

Two tied sets kicked off the 9th day of OGN's Ro16.

Right off the bat, Ozone brought the innovation to the Korean side by running a unique double AD composition.  For the first time in awhile, Graves saw his debut in the bottom lane with Thresh, while Dade, a player known for his powerful AD mid lane, played Lucian. Innovation itself would not save Najin White Shield, however, and their advantages would slowly slip.  Eventually, NaJin White Shield was able to stall late enough to make the composition work and secure a first victory.

The next game showed both teams running with a much more well established setup, going relatively standard on both sides. This time, NaJin White Shield found an early advantage with 2 quick towers within 7 minutes. Ozone was able to surmount a lead later on though, crushing NaJin Shield down and taking the first inhibitor of the game.  Dade had an absolutely incredible game and Ozone had a fantastic drafting phase, picking strong champions like Shyvana, Annie, Olaf, and Nidalee.  The set closed out to 1-1.

The next set would show JinAir Stealths bringing innovation the battlefield, utilizing Alistar as a support again while running a top lane Tryndamere and mid lane Katarina commanded by HooN.  JinAir Stealths managed to harvest an early advantage over Xenics storm, keeping a massive kill lead, though Xenics Storm held even in towers through the midgame. Eventually, Jinair Stealths' gold lead snowballed them into a tower advantage and later to closing out the first game.

In the second game, HooN decided to roll with Katarina and IceBear rolled with Alistar once again.  This time, the luck would not be on their side quite as heavily, as Xenics Storm managed to muster a 3-0 early kill lead.  JinAir Stealths crawled back up with a few counterganks, but Xenics Storm were much more effective ta pushing their advantage into taking towers and objectives.  After the first 15 minutes, JinAir Stealths were not able to acquire any further towers, allowing Xenics Storm to close it off 1-1.
