EU Spring Promotion Day One ends

SUPA HOT CREW XD, Copenhagen Wolves, and TCM Gaming win the first three matches of the 2014 EU Spring Promotion.  The last two matches will be rescheduled.

EU's Spring Promotion tournament began today with the Challenger Stage.  The top three teams out of this round robin group stage will have a chance to face off against Meet Your Makers, SK Gaming, and Ninjas in Pyjamas for a chance to enter the Spring EU LCS.

The first game was between SUPA HOT CREW XD and Kiedyś Miałem Team.  The game lasted fifty two minutes, but SUPA HOT CREW XD always seemed to hold a slight advantage over the Polish squad.  Mimer frequently showed off his skill with top lane Rengar, and SUPA HOT CREW XD took the first win.

After SUPA HOT CREW XD struggled for their victory, the Copenhagen Wolves continued to ride their post-IEM high and defeat Karont3 e-Sports Club much more decisively.  Unlimited proved to be a true terror and managed to build a Zhonya's Hourglass as support Fiddlesticks.

In the final game, TCM Gaming took out Salade Tomate Oignon.  Though this game also proved to be close, it wasn't nearly as long or back and forth as the first match.  In the end, though, TCM proved themselves strong contenders to make it out of the Challenger Stage.

Due to organizational difficulties, the final two matches were not played.  The casters, however, assured viewers that the schedule would be rearranged to include Karont3 vs KMT and Copenhagen Wolves vs TCM Gaming on either Day Two or Day Three.
