TPA reaps revenge against their sister team in LNL Week Six

LNL took a break Saturday so TPS could compete at IEM Singapore, but it was back in full swing on Sunday with both ahq and Azubu Taipei Assassins picking up more wins.

After a disappointing loss to the Saigon Jokers, who they consistently dominated in the GPL Group Stage, at IEM Singapore, the Taipei Assassins returned LNL with both guns blazing.  In the first game, though they made several mistakes against YouCantStopMe, the dual threat of Jax and Vayne was enough to outscale KakaHin's Kassadin, and TPA found their first win.  They won their next game against the Azubu Taipei Snipers in a much more decisive fashion, getting revenge on MiSTakE's devastating support Morgana.

ahq e-Sports Club also continued their lucky streak this week, picking up games against YouCantStopMe and the Azubu Taipei Snipers as well.  Perhaps the Snipers were sluggish after their defeat at the hands of invictus Gaming at IEM, but ahq got a strong grip on their game and managed to close it out at twenty eight minutes.  YouCantStopMe fared much worse, however, when ahq steam-rolled their game without a single death, resulting in the first perfect game for a team in LNL so far.

Though only four games were played this week, they had a strong impact on the standings for the league.  TPA's two victories allowed them to gain much-needed ground over HK Attitude and yoe Flash Wolves, placing them in second place under ahq.  Meanwhile, TPS' and YCSM's two losses place them in the bottom four, and if they remain, they will have to play to qualify for the Spring Season—a place few expected to see the Snipers occupying.  TPS still has five weeks to fight their way out of the qualifying tournament, but with few games left to play and top teams like ahq showing few signs of weekness, things are looking dire.
