After defeating Intellectual Playground Gaming in a convincing 2-1 victory, SK will meet KMT in the grand finals.
With the weekend starting with 3 last-minute replacements for other top European teams, the skill distrubtion was highly uneven for the tournament. Copenhagen Wolves, Ninjas in Pyjamas,, and Team Ultra Vires were all replaced, leaving SK Gaming as the only original team contending. All BYOC teams could not prevail except for Intellectual Playground who managed to take a game off of SK Gaming's new roster. However, after the first shaky performance from SK Gaming, they were able to overcome IPG in two convincing follow-up wins.
