In a post on their website today, the Counter Logic Gaming League of Legends squad is offering five lucky fans a chance to stay in the CLG house for a weekend in what is being described as the “ultimate fan experience”.
In addition to staying with the team in their gaming house in Los Angeles, CLG is promising a unique chance to not only interact, play with and receive training from some of the best players North America has to offer, but also witness how a professional team practices and scrims.
However, the CLG Camp is going to come with a hefty $1000 fee, in addition to travel expenses to California, so it seems that only the most dedicated CLG fans need apply. In addition all hopefuls must fill out an application before being selected.
Other than meet-and-greets, CLG is the first professional League team to offer this kind of exclusive fan service, and if it is a success there is a chance that other teams might open their doors to a select group of fans as well. CLG promises that some of the weekend will be filmed, so others can “share in the experience”.
The camp runs from January 3rd-5th, 2014 and more information about the event can be found on CLG’s website.
