In a post on the team’s Facebook page, Team Coast has officially announced that Brandon “DontMashMe” Phan has decided to step down as the AD carry.
The team says that they have been trying out new players for the role and they hope to have an official replacement soon. It appears that DontMashMe is leaving the team entirely and not taking up a substitute role, as the statement wished him “well with future teams”.
The rumors of DontMashMe’s departure have been circulating for a while, but were unconfirmed before today. The announcement comes despite the fact that Team Coast has found nothing but success in the North American Challenger League, sporting a perfect 10-0 record so far in the competition, and was looking to fight their way back into the LCS for Season 4.
