NACL has seen previous LCS teams Coast and Complexity continue their domination in the setting of the amateur teams.

The first game of the day featured To Be Determined showing a dominant early performance against LCS summer split participants Velocity.  Even with a demanding lead, To Be Determined ended up losing their support player in an unfortunate disconnect. However, Velocity took an honorable loss after agreeing to a 4v4, sending Evaniskus to AFK at fountain. It is noteworthy, however, that the game was nearly over when this occurred in favor of TBD.

Game two and three showed the experience of LCS running through the veins of Coast and Complexity as they took rather convincing wins against their opponents of ggLA and Napkins in Disguise.  These were the two games that ended up bolstering the ranks of the spring LCS veterans to the top places in the groups.

The final game of the night was Curse Academy against Infinite Odds, where Curse Academy found success in running a heavy poke composition.  The success of the strategy was lead by Only Jaximus' AP Nidalee in the mid lane and Rhux on Jayce on the top lane.  The game was steadily even early on with Only Jaximus being notably ahead of Lachang in the mid lane.  The rotations and playstyle of Curse Academy ended up superior, putting them in the driver's seat to close the day out with a win.
