NA Challenger League announced $35,000 challenger season for amateurs

After worlds and before Season 4 LCS, an opportunity for more North American teams has risen to provide more eSports action and training outside of the realm of Riot regulated tournaments.

Ten teams, including teams that are not guaranteed spots in the Season 4 LCS, will be competing in an 8 week tournament for glory and $35,000 total in prizes.  All matches will be livestreamed on Twitch as well as AzubuTV.  Nine spots will be filled initially with the 10th spot being filled by a qualifying team.  The qualifier for the tenth spot will be held on October 3rd and end on October 6th.

United States Velocity eSports
United States Curse Academy
United States Napkins in Disguise
United States To Be Determined
United States Complexity
United States COGnitive Gaming
United States Gold Gaming LA
United States Infinite Odds

The announced prize pool distribution will be:

1st - $10,250
2nd - $6,250
3rd/4th - $4,500
5th/6th - $2,750
7th-10th - $1,000
