Yesterday, Quantic Gaming announced a change in their roster, welcoming Sunu as their new top-laner, while Woong will depart from the team.
An "SuNo" Sun-ho is a former top-laner of SKT T1 1, the sister team of SKT T1, a finalist of this years' World Championship. Woong, on the other hand, will be returning to Korea because of personal reasons. SuNo was chosen by Locodoco (Quantic's AD Carry) to join the team thanks to their previous encounters. According to Locodoco, SuNo has good work ethics and is a strong player for both mid and top lanes, which would provide versatility for the team and the possibility of Apple and Suno changing lanes according to matchups and strategies.
As previously announced, Quantic Gaming is to compete on the North American scene and will try to qualify for the NA LCS Season 4. SuNo is thrilled to move to USA and experience the the local culture; that, and the opportunity to play with great players and learn from them, are the main reasons why he chose Quantic Gaming.
With that change the roster of Quantic Gaming consists of:
- Solo Laners (exchangable between top and mid): Apple and SuNo
- Jungle: Prime
- ADC: Locodoco
- Support: Gunza
SuNo has already moved to USA and to Quantic's gaming house in California in particular. While he is leveling his account to 30, his team keeps raising in the standings of the NA Ranked 5v5 Ladder. As of now, Quantic Gaming are in Diamond 2 with 83 LP and win rate of above 90%, which gives them confidence that they will be able to reach the top of the standings in time to compete in the Challenger Circuit Qualifiers for LCS.
