After a 2-1 victory, Fnatic will face off against the winners of China's OMG and Royal Club following the results of their match tomorrow.
Game 1
The classic matchup would begin with an intense level one, forcing Yellowstar to flash. They would find their revenge by returning the favor and forcing a flash out of Hai. A failed gank occured bottom with sOAZ keeping his summoners and no follow up from balls. While Fnatic has brought a lot of pressure to Cloud 9's early dragon attempts, Meteos proved to be the stronger smiter.
As the game went on, one strong rotation from Fnatic while Cloud 9 was out of position allowed for Fnatic to snowball ahead. In a very close game, Fnatic instantly went for middle inhibitor, taking out two turrets and crushing down middle inhibitor, causing the split from both sidelanes to be tough for Cloud 9 to handle. This inhibitor snowballed the advantage for Fnatic.
Game 2
Game 2 featured xPeke testing the waters again by Twisted Fate picking into a counter. This time, it didn't work as well for them as Hai's Fizz drew first blood. However, Hai's Fizz would prove problematic. On two occassions, Hai would find himself caught out, but not without Cloud 9 capitalizing on other parts of the map.
Meteos' farm would prove much more useful on his Nocturne pick this game as well. The tankiness provided against Fnatic's primarily ability power composition allowed for some crazy dives complemented by Balls' incredible equalizers. With Sneaky's piercing arrows, Cloud 9 were ahead in fights before they started. With a failed desperate baron, Fnatic faltered in their second game against Cloud 9.
Game 3
Game 3 was a complete washover and a harsh stop to Cloud 9's momentum in Game 2. The game took a turn for the worst in the very beginning when Cyanide's Lee Sin was able to go 2-0 by picking off Cloud 9's bottom lane. After the lack of performance there, Cloud 9 utterly choked, but still managed to keep it close with their objective control. Eventually, the snowball became too much and Fnatic took the final game in a massive steamroll-y fashion.
