OMG and SKT advance in Group A - TSM goes out honorably

OMG and SKT T1 proved themselves to be the strongest in the group with Lemondogs and Team Solomid falling closely behind.

As some might suspect, the Asian teams made it out of Group A, even if the same seems like it might not be said for Group B.  Lemondogs, who did incredibly well in the Summer group stage and placed second in the European regionals, did not show much lan prowess entering.

GamingGear EU suffered a total shutout so far going 0-6, only able to find redemption in today's games.  Most of the Wildcard's games found the team utterly outclassed, but at times showing brisk and refreshing bouts of talent that might allow them to take a game off of the other top teams in the world.  Their game versus Lemondogs started off well, but gently slipped into a defeating crush.

The final game of the night featuring Team Solomid versus OMG was close and littered with controversy.  The players have reported that they were able to hear the audience through their soundproof headsets and thus were given an unfair advantage.  While Team Solomid still lost very hard to OMG, Dyrus had this to say on the matter:

?

"When they did it I knew the ganks were coming. I felt bad so I just sat there and died."

Nevertheless, Team Solomid put up much less of a fight to the unique, aggressive style of OMG as opposed to their close bout with SK Telecom T1 earlier.  With the placements in the groups already solidified, today marks the day where we judge placements and see which teams place where and what they earn from their piece of the prize pool.
