?Intel Extreme Masters have recently revealed their plans to follow up IEM Shanghai for the rest of the season.
A lot of the venues for last year's Intel Extreme Masters season will be returning once again for Season 8. The next tournament for League of Legends is set to be played very shortly after the Season 3 World Championships, starting at the end of November 2013 with a total of $70,000 up for grabs.
This tournament will be a global event with teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, China, and more. Riding into 2014, IEM will be returning to Brazil in February, featuring one North American team, one European team, and three Brazilian teams. The season ends where some epic upsets happened and history were made.
A packed venue, an explosive audience, xPeke's backdoor, and Gambit's 4-0 over Azubu Blaze and Frost will hopefully be relived as the World Championships conclude in Katowice. IEM New York is very shortly after Season 3 World Championships, but will not feature League of Legends competition this year.
