Vulcun returned on PAX Prime Sunday for a chance to become the final team of the North American S3WC and looked amazing. After an 0-2 loss to TSM, Vulcun woke up and came out of the gates at an astonishing pace. The highly action packed game started with 12 kills before 10 minutes with 8 of the 12 going to Vulcun. Sycho Sid looked like a psychotic murderer as he mowed down members of Dignitas on Shen ending the game 7/1/14. Vulcun would constantly push every advantage and fight every opportunity they had looking like the most fearsome team in America.
Dignitas just had no answer for Vulcun as they would have 4 of the 5 members going negative by the end of the game, while Vulcun had every member even or positive. The game would end swiftly as Vulcun just forced fights that Dignitas had no chance at winning with 31- 12 kill differential.
Game 2
Scarra and company tried to change up the pac game 2 by playing champions that have worked for them all season along with stealing some picks away from Vulcun. Vulcun would pay no heed to it as they would manage to grab Mancloud Ahri and give each member champions that they enjoyed playing. The game would give Dignitas the first blood with a double ignite on Ahri, however Vulcun’s map sense was far superior as they would manage to trade a 2 for 1 early on. Dignitas’ aggressive playstyle would push them to gain a minor lead, but Zuna would be the answer that Vulcun needed with his extreme aggression back.
While Dignitas did manage to play much more aggressive, Vulcun countered by just playing smart. Every member of Vulcun would contribute tons for the team fights. Zuna, Sycho Sid, and Xmithie were just too strong for the members of Dignitas as they would vaporize the members of DIG at every fight. The 22 - 12 kill differential shows just how much stronger Vulcun’s team fighting potential was as they would kick DIG out of the run into S3WC. Vulcun would become the final team to enter as a representative of North America.
