After all that has occured during the split, the Spring Champions managed to pull it together once again and grab absolute victory in the LCS twice in a row
Fnatic did not have the best of beginnings this split. A mediocre performance and a roster change prevented the team from repeating their domination last Spring. Adding to that, the rookies team ALTERNATE and Lemondogs provided an even more challenging playing field, the latter being its opponent yesterday during the finals.
This match, however, showed that Fnatic is back in form and better than before, taking down Lemondogs 3-1 in an incredible display of skill and teamwork. Throughout four games, FNC showed its experience in high-pressure live events, by remaining focused in their decision-making and maintaining strong mechanics. LD on the other hand, while displaying amazing potential during this split, would need to step it up now that something bigger is on the line: The World Championship.
Fnatic's Summer Split win means that they are the absolute victors on Season Three in Europe, and have proven that they are one of the best to represent their region. With a few weeks away from Worlds, together with Lemondogs and Gambit Gaming, FNC has to kick things into high gear and show that they are the best in the world.
