After two days of playing, Gaming Gear - EU secured the wildcard spot only dropping one game throughout the entire tournament. GG-EU is now the second confirmed team that will compete at the Season 3 World Championship.
Gaming Gear continued to look like a promising team after the group stages only dropping one game. The only team to defeat Gaming Gear was the team that they would be playing in the finals, paiN Gaming from Brazil. GG-EU would however shift gears completely going 7-1 the entire wildcard tournament. Gaming Gear will officially become the second team that heads to Los Angeles after Pinoy team Mineski.
