CLG clean sweeps TSM with a 4-0 in LCS

?
The long-lived rivarly between these two teams comes to a close in the Summer Split as CLG has won all 4 games against their grudge.

C9 vs. VES

What one would normally consider an incredible stomp or even a game simply not worth watching was actually quite the incredible display of potential from Velocity.  Velocity would shock everyone with their brave playstyle even against the nearly undefeated Cloud 9 while being on the opposite end of the spectrum themselves.  Cris showcased epic talent in the top lane, showing how he deserves a spot on the team, being ultra fed and useful in teamfights.

Where Velocity showed awesome control beyond early game, a feat they've had trouble accomplishing for the past several weeks in the LCS, Cloud 9 knows the flow of the game inside-out.  Regrettably, Velocity started off a game well and just couldn't consistently keep that performance the whole way through.  However, they still managed to outperform Curse in the fight against Cloud 9, proving that they do have potential yet to be tapped.

CLG vs. TSM

The final game of TSM vs. CLG of the split would once again look to shift in the favor of CLG.  The biggest rivalry known in League of Legends eSports history would start with some counter-counter mindgames kicking things off with Team Solomid leaving a ban open and CLG hoping to bait a Karthus pick for Ahri.  Even though Reginald went Kassadin, Link performed just fine.  A significantly stronger game from Chauster would bring large merits to CLG.

With plenty of hooks, proper counter-warding, and excellent engages, it looked like a whole new player on Chauster.  Counter Logic Gaming also came in looking like a new team with very systematic objective control and calculated decisions.  Eventually, Team Solomid would drop 0-4 to Counter Logic Gaming.

CST vs. DIG

The final game of week 8 NA and also the final game between another pair of teams would commence with some comfort picks from both sides.  For the first time in awhile, we saw NintendudeX pulling out the tank Fiddlesticks once again in the jungle, prevailing and bringing results early in the game. Dignitas were on their A-Game however, narrowly sweeping up the competition in most of the fights and pulling out superior engages.

When it came to battling, both teams held out pretty evently with Dignitas showing the clear advantage in sieging.  Despite successful fighting and a high performance Vayne out of DontMashMe, Team Coast's Waveclear would aid in bringing them to demise as they were unable to keep minions off of their towers.  Eventually, Dignitas closed out the game to tie with Counter Logic Gaming and Team Solomid for 3rd.
